It was just a fitting option for a weekend escape in Selby with exceptional value. The ear plugs provided were a nice touch to help with the noise. It’s handy to have a cafe across the road for breakfast options.

The bar had some of the best prices I've seen, and sipping drinks on the sunny balcony was pure bliss. I loved the cozy lounge area and the chance to unwind in the jacuzzi. The only downside was the bed being a bit soft and not feeling like a true double, but it didn't ruin my stay at all. 👍

Comfortable stay with a lively atmosphere
We had a great time enjoying the modern and clean Twin Room with Shower during our two-night stay. The hotel's location above a pub offered easy access to refreshments, and the complimentary earplugs helped manage some noise during our stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it a restful experience overall. the noise from the pub below might be a concern if you're a light sleeper.

While the location is vibrant, it comes with its own set of challenges. Noise from the pub below can be quite significant, especially late at night, which might disrupt your sleep if you’re not accustomed to that atmosphere. some guests have mentioned that bed configurations can be uncomfortable, due to the two singles pushed together, which can lead to an awkward night’s rest. Details like missing toilet paper and mediocre cleanliness in some areas suggest a need for better attention to minor room supplies and public areas.

Clean & comfy stay
Just stayed for a night and loved it. The room was super clean and comfy, and the walk-in shower was a nice touch. Plenty of tea and coffee too! It’s right in the center, so easy to explore. The noise from the pub wasn’t a big deal, but the stairs could be a bit tricky if you have heavy luggage.

Had a right blast at the Bay Horse! The rooms are sparkling and comfy. There’s a killer chippy right next door for an epic fish and chips experience. Not to mention, you're a stone’s throw from the Abbey Cafe for a cheeky brew. Can't beat that!
The noise from the pub was a bit much some nights but it kind of gives the place its vibe, ya know? Just keep earplugs handy and it's all good!
